Terms and Conditions

 

Important
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the purchase of goods from us. Please read them carefully before ordering. They do not affect your statutory rights.

2. Prices and Payment
All prices are shown in pounds sterling (£) and include UK VAT at the applicable rate.
Delivery charges are added separately and shown at checkout.
We accept payment by major credit and debit cards.
Payment is taken once we confirm that we can fulfil your order.

 

3. Delivery
We aim to dispatch orders promptly and usually deliver within 7 working days, but we will deliver within 30 days unless agreed otherwise.
Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by factors outside our control (e.g. courier delays, severe weather).
Risk of loss or damage passes to you once the goods are delivered.

 

4. Delivery Costs
£6.95 for orders under £100 (England, Scotland & Wales).
£19.95 for orders under £100 (Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Scottish Highlands).
Orders over £100 may qualify for free delivery (where advertised).

 

5. Availability and Substitutions
All items are offered subject to availability.
We may substitute products of equal or higher quality/value if the original item is unavailable, unless you ask us not to in the checkout.

 

6. Cancelling Your Order (Non-Perishable Goods)
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 calendar days of receiving your goods.

- You must notify us by email or post within this period.
- Goods must be returned in saleable condition at your cost, unless faulty.
- We recommend using a recorded delivery service.
- We will refund you within 14 days of receiving the returned goods, including the standard delivery charge you originally paid.

Exemptions: You cannot cancel or return:
- Perishable or chilled/frozen goods
- Customised or personalised items
- Sealed audio/video/software products once unsealed

 

7. Food Products (Special Terms)
Many of our products are perishable and therefore cannot be returned unless faulty, damaged, or misdescribed.
Customers must check deliveries promptly and notify us of any issues within 24 hours of receipt.
Product images are for illustration only; packaging and ingredients may vary.
We rely on suppliers for product and allergen information. While we aim to ensure accuracy, customers must always check product labels before consumption.
Where chilled or frozen products are ordered, you must ensure someone is available to accept delivery. We cannot be liable for spoiled goods if delivery is delayed or missed due to the recipient not being available.
Alcohol will not be sold to anyone under the age of 18. We reserve the right to request proof of age at delivery.

 

8. Faulty or Damaged Goods
If goods are faulty, damaged, or misdescribed, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Please contact us as soon as possible. We will arrange return or replacement at no cost to you.

 

9. Privacy and Data Protection
Your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms & Conditions.
By placing an order, you agree that we may use your information to process and deliver your order.

 

10. After-Sales Service
We are committed to excellent customer care. If you have a query, complaint, or require after-sales support, please contact us using the details in Section 1.

 

11. Dispute Resolution
If we cannot resolve your complaint directly, you may use the Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform provided by the European Commission: https://ec.europa.eu/odr.
This is not compulsory, but we are required to make you aware of it.

 

12. Statutory Rights
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights under UK law.
